Vintage hardcover edition of When We Were Very Young by A.A. Milne, featuring the iconic decorations of E.H. Shepard. This red cloth-bound volume includes an 'Ex Libris' bookplate for Beatrice E. Thomas and a handwritten gift inscription dated December 1927. The book shows significant age-related wear, including fraying at the spine ends and corners, some staining to the front cover, and a cracked internal hinge. The original owner also cut out a newspaper picture of the real Christopher Robin and pasted it on the copyright page.
